Vík Camping |
Vik Campsite is located only 1 km from Vik village center. The campsite can accomadate up to 250 person in tents, cabins, cars and caravans. The campsite is one of the largest in Iceland and no reservations are required. There is electricity board for 36 cars and facilities to empty car-toilets. In the coming years we will continue to improve our cabin service, shower service.

FACILITES |
On the campsite we offer most of the services required by campers, electricity, toilets, warm and cold running water, shower, WiFi and dining facilities. Washing machine and tumble dryer are available at the campsite. Electricity boards are situated in a places on the area, available for campers. On one place on the campsite are also facilities to empty and clean car toilets. Most other services are within a walking distance from the site. Contact the warden for further information.

OPENING HOURS |
The campsite is open from 13th of May – 31 October.
On your arrival, please contact the reception for registration and payment. If you arrive when the reception is closed, you are welcome to setup camp and contact the reception when it opens. |

Camping |
There is no need to book in advance, but please inform the Campsite beforehand if you are a larger group travelling together. The campsite has a capacity of 250 people and there is always a space for one more tent/car. We do not sell any camping gear.

cottages |
Vik campsite offers accomodation in 4 cottages at the camping ground. Each cottage have a bed for 2 people, toilet, WC, shower, WiFi and dining facilities.
All our cottages were rebuilt in winter/spring 2019. See our Cottages for more information. |
Cars and caravans |
Vik Campsite has facilities for cars and caravans. There is electricity boards for 52 cars. There is also a facilities to empty car toilets.
