The village of Vik is the southernmost village in Iceland, located on the main ring road around the island, around 180 km by road southeast of Reykjavík. Vik is one of the most popular tourist places in Iceland. Vik is a small village with population around 300 and has a good travel services. Few places in Iceland offer as many contrasts of nature as Vik area. The Vik area is therefore an ideal place to visit for travelers who want to enjoy the best of what the country's natural environment has to offer.

Vik Campsite is located only 1 km from Vik village center. The campsite can accomadate up to 250 person in tents, cabins, cars and caravans. On the campsite we offer most of the services required by campers, electricity, toilets, warm and cold running water, shower, WiFi and dining facilities.

Vik campsite offers accomodation in 4 cottages at the camping ground. Each cottages have a bed for 2 people, electricity, toilet, WC, shower, WiFi and dining facilities.
All our cottages were built in winter 2016/2017.

Opening hours - summer 2017
Vik Campsite will be open from 1st of May to 30 October. In winter the campsite is closed. The campground office is located next to the entrance gate. On your arrival, please contact the reception for registration and payment.
New campsite cottages – summer 2017
Vik campsite will have four new cottages 20th of June. Each cottage is 28 m2 in size. The cottages will be rented from 20th of June to 31st of October through Airbnb.com.
